Color Challenge and Some Blog Candy

Edited to add that Andrea at Playing with Paper...Again won the blog candy thanks to Random.org. Thank you to everyone that played and especially for your nice comments.

Today I gave my unit a challenge. I told them to get out a stamp set that they've purchased that has yet to be inked. We all have them right? For a chance to win some blog candy please post a comment as to how many unused stamp sets you own. (I promise I won't tell your husband!) I will choose a winner using random.org and the prize is this very little used set :0) I love it, but I've decided I want to share it. I will choose a winner on Saturday noon (central time). So let's here it...confession time :0)
It's soooo simple, but sometimes that's what a card needs. The colors I used are similar to Stampin' Up!'s colors. I used Hollyhock, Blush and Seafoam (which is discontinued). The stamp sets are Best of Times and Gracious Greetings. The only things I did to dress it up was to add some glitter and a pink organdy ribbon. I hope you like it.
You are Close to My Heart,
Yvonne

Sadly, I probably have at least 10 sets that have yet to be used . I normally assemble them when I get them, but I was not expecting an engagement ring for Easter and found that stamping took 2nd seat to wedding planning so they sit unused.

It was a beautiful card that you made!

Beautiful card! :) As far as unused stamp sets, I'm working on it, LOL! I probably have 10 or less totally unused stamp sets, but many of those have only one or two stamps used.

Very elegant! I enjoyed working with these colors too!

As for 'unused stamp sets' - you know I don't think I have any I have never used, but I have about 6 that are in a drawer rather than on my shelf because I almost never use them.

Beautiful card, I love it. That sheer ribbon just adds something.

Um, un-ink'd sets...I know of at least three...the ones I haven't even mounted yet, LOL! I'm not admitting to any more.

Love your card! So pretty and very elegant!

I have to admit that I probably have at least 7 that I have yet to open - now if you count the ones that are mounted(which is kind of using)but not used there is about 10. UGH! Why did I admit that!

Thanks for sharing the great card! - Mandy

Love the card Yvonne! The card is so simple but elegant. I have a few stamp sets not used, guess this will be an incentive to get them out and use them.
